Heirinch Ignaz Franz von Biber (1644-1704) - The Rosary Sonatas, Georg Muffat (1653-1704) - Sonata in D major

Pelo adiantado da hora, seguem algumas informações sobre Biber: "Pouco se sabe de sua educação, além de que pode ter estudado num colégio jesuíta em Opava, na Boêmia, e que possivelmente recebeu alguma educação musical de um organista local. Antes de 1668, Biber trabalhou na corte do Príncipe Johann Seyfried von Eggenberg, em Graz, e depois foi empregado pelo príncipe-bispo de Olomouc, Karl II von Liechtenstein-Kastelkorn , em Kroměříž. Aparentemente Biber tinha boa reputação, e suas habilidades no violino eram altamente apreciadas. No verão de 1670 Karl II enviou Biber a Absam, perto de Innsbruck, para adquirir novos violinos, feitos pelo luthier Jacob Stainer, para a Kapelle, porém Biber nunca retornou e, em vez disso, começou a trabalhar para o Arcebispo de Salzburg, Maximilian Gandolph von Kuenburg. Como Karl e Maximilian eram amigos, o antigo empregador não tomou nenhuma atitude. Biber permaneceu em Salzburg pelo resto de sua vida". Ainda aparece Georg Muffat. Não deixe de ouvir.
